Weatherization, Rehabilitation, and Asset Preservation Project (WRAP)

Anchorage Neighborhood Housing Services has been chosen as one of 11 pilot WRAP sites in the United States. WRAP's mission is to preserve a low- to moderate-income homeowner's prime asset (their home) by identifying new and creative approaches and partnerships among government and private sector programs, services, and products. Working closely with families, we will complete a plan that will include home repairs, education, and applicable referrals. We will also work to build a network of families involved in the WRAP program to mentor other families and participate in neighborhood forums. ANHS will offer classes to the family in the areas of home maintenance, credit education, investment, and fire safety.

This exciting opportunity is sponsored by the Ford Foundation in partnership with the Energy Programs Consortium with local support from the Anchorage Community Land Trust funded through the Rasmuson Foundation, State Farm, ConocoPhillips, Wells Fargo and Wells Fargo Foundation on behalf of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, First National Bank Alaska, Municipal Light and Power, Enstar Natural Gas, Municipality of Anchorage, and Aurora Power.

For more information about the WRAP program or any other Anchorage Neighborhood Housing Services product, please contact lnealley@akanhs.org or call 677-8490.
